Course Objective

This program aims to empower people with disabilities with correct and scientifically documented information on the concept and issues of reproductive health and to promote positive behaviors that support and enhance their health and well-being.

 

Learning Outcomes

Through the Journey series of the training program, young people and adolescents with disabilities will be able to:

  • Recognize the concept of reproductive health and its relationship to the individual, family and society.
  • Identify the most important components and messages related to reproductive health in the different age stages.
  • Addressing the skill behaviors of adolescents to deal with different variables during that stage.
  • Recognize the concepts of gender and gender-based violence and its different forms.
  • Identify harmful practices to reproductive health and the importance of avoiding them, such as female circumcision and early marriage.
